Inspired by Viola Davis at the Oscars, I adapted the Vera Wang for Storm.

i tried to use texture brushes to give the feel of a tornado, clouds and lightning?

i really enjoyed drawing horns wrt illyana the other day, so i was like let’s put horns on somebody and then i thought who would love to be a demon/horned person the most?

obvious answer: Tina Cohen-Chang, duh! Plus Tina never gets enough love. so here’s Tina as a sort of… smoky, demon badass, sword and all.

i kind of like the uncolored version better? idk i like the colors too… i think i’ll post the colorless and the basic sketch layer on my art blog later. anyway, i hope she and everyone else likes it.

so this started out as racebent Irene Adler and the thought was Indian. and then the thought was what if she was a bit short and a bit pudgy with a bit of a big nose because that’s the things you don’t see on “traditional” leading ladies and then i gave her an eyebrow and a nose piercing on the same side which is rare i know but w/e w/e i do what i wants, and then I was like screw underwear put some JEANS on this booty because that’s what I AM WEARING. and then i was all MONOCHROMATIC IN AQUA BECAUSE I FELT LIKE IT. and then… idek. I POST IT.

for some reason been real into lookig at silent film stars, esp lillian gish so, have a sort of silent film star sketch in… cyan. well, the cyan was because i just watched stardust, the sassy pose was because i was listening to kate voegele, and the dress was because the song was called angel. 

it makes sense in MY head ok :P
